loading multiple triggers
« on: 10 May 2013, 13:01 »
Hi Ive been using mfp 6 for years but decided to upgrade to the latest version and having some teething problems.
How do I load multiple triggers into active triggers. Every time I open a new trigger file from the trigger library it deletes the first one. Do I need to copy and paste everything into one trigger and then rename it ?
Secondly, I'm keen to use the hipro 86 laying staking plan. I want to use my own selection criteria rather than 'favourite' as in the stock trigger example. Do I need to put these conditions in each and every trigger block  - there are 4 - or just in the laying one. If so what do I put in the selections box on the other 3 ?
Thanks in advance

hi
1-Yes, copy and paste the block then rename the new trigger.
2-put your selected favourite in the lay trigger only.
do not alter the other 3 triggers

Many thanks for the super quick reply, much appreciated.
Just to be sure, my current lay trigger is set to all matching selections, then in the conditions box are various price and other parameters.
To incorporate this into the highpro staking plan I obviously use this in the lay trigger block but do I still use 'favourite' in the other blocks - doesn't seem to make sense as the first lay block usually doesnt end up laying the favourite ?
Also Ive been trying out the staking plan on the greyhounds in test mode to fully understand how it works but I seem to be unable to get the trigger hipro86 to place bets without reloading the trigger after each market has finished. Even though multiple markets are loaded and being monitored the trigger log shows inapproprate market status idle and will only fire the trigger when i click reload - any ideas ?
Thanks again

hi
the other triggers only use the favourite as an activation selection, because there is always a favourite, if you used the 3rd favourite and there were only 2 runners the trigger would not activate.
the main reason for most staking plans to fail the second bet is that you have ticked the Delete finished/settled events automatically
the triggers need the last market settled, so that they can calculate the next stake amount.
