Maintenance

Hi All,

I am new to MF and currently half way through my trial. I have spent 20 or 30 hours (whose counting) on getting to know the triggers variables etc. I have a VPS server that I am running market feeder on and have a couple of questions if people don't mind helping.

I have checked task manager on the VPS and currently the size of Market Feeder is 500.3mb (and growing). MF been on continuously for about 30 hours.  I am testing (in test mode) several triggers across several markets.

* What level of maintenance does MF provide (clearing memory etc) ?
* Is it possible and advised to leave running 24/7 ?

Hello Neil,

MF clears memory and the usage is depended on number of markets being refreshed, history depth, and many other parameters.
Yes, some of our clients run MF on VPS 24/7 (they will share their recommendations I hope) but I would suggest to have a look at the software as there are many distractions (like Windows update, Internet connection interruptions, etc.) that may affect MF.
