Hello Everyone; first post here!

So, I have rented a Windows Server 2008 virtual machine just for MarketFeeder Pro 7 (since I'm running Linux! ;D)  and the software works without problems, except that the real bets I place never seem to reach Betfair's servers.
I don't know much about Windows' firewall, but I have enabled both incoming & outgoing connections for feeder7.exe; still, it seems that MarketFeeder doesn't use Winsocks, so perhaps I have to open the specific ports that the program uses.

Therefore, my two questions are:

  • Can anyone enlighten me about how they have configured their Windows firewall successfully?
  • Which ports are actually used by MarketFeeder Pro 7 for the communication with Betfair?

Many thanks for any answers in advance!

Sincerely,

a Linux user...

Hello Linux,

The port/firewall can't affect the bets only.
Is there any error in program's log?
May bet insufficien funds to cover liability (if they are LAY bets).
