So, I have rented a Windows Server 2008 virtual machine just for MarketFeeder Pro 7 (since I'm running Linux!
) and the software works without problems, except that the
real bets I place never seem to reach Betfair's servers.
I don't know much about Windows' firewall, but I have enabled both incoming & outgoing connections for
feeder7.exe; still, it seems that MarketFeeder doesn't use Winsocks, so perhaps I have to open the specific ports that the program uses.
Therefore, my two questions are:
- Can anyone enlighten me about how they have configured their Windows firewall successfully?
- Which ports are actually used by MarketFeeder Pro 7 for the communication with Betfair?
