MF Pro ran out of available threads
« on: 20 Apr 2013, 18:38 »
Anyone else experienced this ?

Full Program Log error :

"Bet request could not be processed, MF Pro ran out of available threads. Consider reducing the number of refreshing markets"

I have only one refreshing market and a very simple lay trigger.

Intermittent failure - more often than not bet is placed OK.

Hello,

We are working on the same error with another MF Pro user. He has 50-70 markets running at the same time though.

Do you use the scheduled market search and if yes, how often?

Hi,

Yes I use the scheduled market search just once per session on start up.
It loads in the UK horse race win markets for the day.
I begin refreshing markets 5 mins before the off.
There is usually one, maximum two, markets being refreshed simultaneously - 1s  refresh while marlt idle and 3s refresh in play.
My trigger is a very simple single block layer - nothing special. It lays a selection around 15s before the off.

I only saw this error since the last release but it might be coincidence.

cheers,

Andy

I only saw this error since the last release but it might be coincidence.

This error log message was added to the latest release to help diagnose the reason why bets were not being placed. So the message is helping me to see what is happening. I believe you posted in the topic that was related to missing bets, and so it seems the matter was not in your anti-virus software.

It seems like your copy of MF Pro runs out of available threads too. I am trying to think of the ways to prevent this. It is odd that you're experiencing this problem with only a couple of markets running at the same time.

How often have you got this error since the installation of the latest build?

I had 5 races yesterday that failed to bet when the market turned in-play, these are green up bets to close positions that did not close out before the off, they should fire at 9 seconds after the off, this was out of over 50 races yesterday, the rest fired ok.

I saw the last race and noticed the race timer (top right) froze from 6 seconds untill 15 seconds after the off, the trigger log looked fine, it said the bets were placed, but they did not appear? I've not downloaded the latest update, maybe I should? All the bets were above minimum...

Don't know if it's MFP or the API which seems very glitchy on a saturday, probably due to the football...

More or less every day. However there was a couple of days after I changed the NIS settings where I didn't see it so thought that was the issue resolved. Seemingly not. Prior to that some bets weren't placed - see my original ticket - where the trigger log reported that a bet was going to be placed but the program log was empty. Obviously       there was no message at that time in the previous release.

I'm also missing bets because of the available threads error message.  I load UK horse racing on start up and monitor markets from 9 minutes before the start.  My refresh rate is 16 secs changing to 48 secs after planned off time.  The maximum number of markets is 3, but the problem occurs with 2 and possibly 1.  The problem occurs a number of times each day.

You could try going to connection monitor

and unticking both the alerts

and click apply settings to save.

You will need to check you are not being charged to much by BF if you are going over badly.

Give it a go it worked for me when i got that alert you mentioned.

Hope it helps

I never bought a lifetime licence when I had the opportunity and kick myself every day by not realizing at the time the power of MF Pro and its team behind it.

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
