  • Thanks for your replies guys.

I am running MFP gain today so will see how it goes.  Last week I ensured that I did not allow any IE updates, with both updates listed below still waiting to be updated, so that would not appear to have been the problem yesterday.

I also got an access violation on MFP later on last night so might be connected with that.  Anyone had one of those?

    Cheers

  • Well I am afraid that I had an error again. Not a violation error this time but the same as my original error that the program has stopped working and needed to close.

I definitely do not have either IE update installed so I am at a loss. There seems to be quite a few of people experiencing issues. Do the support team read this forum or do you have to contact them direct about technical issues?

Although there are quite a few of us if it was windows updates that were causing the problem then you would think there would be a lot more posts on the forum.

    Anyone any ideas/suggestions?

    Cheers

  • I hope someone from the support team will help us this time

  • I think the team are very tied up at the moment preparing to port the platform over to the new betfair api, which is imminent over the next few weeks. They are very good at trying to resolve issues, so I think if they've been a bit quiet on this issue that may have something to do with it.

In terms of everyone here having different problems, it might make sense to check what version of windows we are running to see if there is any commonality.  My system is windows 7 64 bit professional and my problem was resolved by not installing the 2 recent internet explorer 11 updates.

  • Hi guys

I must agree with armarni, Oxa and their partners  are great people and this time their silence is for a bigguest cause.

Im not part of support team, im a user like all of you guys.

If anyone desire i can try help with a team viewer session and then try to review all possible configs that can cause that problems.

In future and if support team wants that is better all of us have a change to contribute to kill that anoying issues, by for exemple run any kind of error report software made by support team to catch that bastards.

I am the first of the line to use that kind o software.

    Sorry my english guys ;)

  • Hi guys

No problem if it takes a while to sort out but it is bloody annoying. I am also running windows 7 64 bit professional and my problem did go when I deleted the IE updates but it is now back and I definitely don't have them installed now.

Anyone else used a relatively new trigger? I have been using one for a few weeks which has been fine but may be connected with that?

Thanks for the teamviewer session offer pcal I may take you up on that if I can't figure this out.

    Cheers

  • Hi,

I am wondering if some of these problems are related to the ISP. In the recent past I had many errors while using a poor broadband signal.

Since I now have an excellent strong stable signal, the errors have dropped off a great deal.
Just wondering if there is any consensus amongst users about this.

  • Hi Larp

Thanks very much for this I have had a few issues with my broadband over the last couple of weeks so I think you could be on to something.

Can I ask were you getting the same a program has caused mfp to close error?

    Thanks

  • HI

    Yes, most definitely.

I am now two feet from the modem and only 50 feet from the ISP junction box up the road. Its mainly the reason I moved here ;)

  • Removing update KB2987107 from my Windows 7 Home Premium Edition SP1 installation has definitely helped with stability today. I've not had any "MarketFeeder has stopped working" windows at all when the software runs up and the market locator fires up (where I believe the problem was).

  • What you've described andyock is exactly the problem I was having, i.e the programme would stop working as the market locator fired up.  This has been resolved on my system by not installing the recent internet explorer 11 updates so hopefully your system will be rock solid again.

Is your system 32 bit or 64 bit windows 7?

  • Thanks Larp

In the absence of the IE updates I think this could be my issue.  I will look into it a bit more.

Hi armarni - 64 bit for me.
