No triggers work at all
« on: 21 Nov 2012, 16:15 »
Hi guys

I've used MFP 6 for a while and found it great.  I've just updated to 7.32 and now nothing works.  I've got a simple trigger and it just does nothing.  I've tried looking at the logs and even they're not recorded properly even though my settings say they should be.  I'm not in test mode and I do have the triggers selected and loaded but I'm baffled.  It's just like nothing is firing at all.  I know the trigger is right but nothing is happening!  I never had any issues in the previous version and I'm totally stumped!!

Thanks in advance.

Hi
There could be a number of reasons why triggers are not firing. I know you mention you are not in test mode, but it might be an idea just to set it to test mode until you are happy with the way it all functions.

The latest version is 7.0.0.39, so I’m not sure where 7.32 comes from.

The program will come with default security settings, mainly aimed at new users so triggers do not fire unexpectedly. If you have not done so already, it might be worth going through the various settings pages to check you are happy with each setting.

There are some differences in trigger actions and conditions from V6. V7 will automatically convert these. Check your trigger is as you expect it to be.

Are your triggers enabled in the trigger file.

Are you betting below minimum, i.e. small bets setting.

General settings > Request confirmation... setting should be off

Ah, I think it was the 'request confirmation ' option!  It was on, my bad I do apologise.  Thanks very much Mark!
