Place markets
« on: 13 Oct 2016, 09:33 »
Hello

I have a few q about place markets...

1. Is there a condition that could prevent placing a bet in play on place market if 2 or more selections have the same position ? i.e. 2 horses are ranked as 1st favourite...

2. Are there any other conditions that we could use on place market with "winplace_sell_order is equal to sell_order"  to ensure that selections order in place market is same as on win market ? When I try to bet on 1st favourite, my first condition is usually selection's rank is equal to 1, winplace_sell order is equal to sell_order, match_b_book for first 3 favourites is greater than let's say 90 (with user variable set on win market to check every 0.2 sec a condition "selection's back price is between r_1_back_price and r_3_back_price)....Often my bet is placed on selection that is not a 1st favourite at that moment...

3. Just wondering, is market refresh of 0.2 seconds for place markets (or even win markets) in play maybe to low ? because of volatile odds and selections order... What would you suggest about market refresh time in play?

4. Is there a way that we could watch at the same time win and place market side by side or up/down in market feeder ?  something like this in https://marketfeeder.co.uk/learn/triggers/each-way/

Thanks in advance for your help and time....

Thanks Mark

According to user manual, "selections are by default sorted by their back price, but you can change their sorting order
applying the condition Selection's Sorting Order is defined by".

So, the correct condition for place markets would be "Selection's Sorting Order is defined by winplace_back_price ?  :-\

Hi
I tested that on several races using the trigger in the attached screenshot, and it came up with the same selection name in all tests, so yes it looks to be doing what you want. I'd suggest you test it using a number of selections so you are happy with the way the condition works.
