Problem that is ruining the whole experience

I'm getting many times in a day these warnings:

Unable to write to .../.../... settings.ini

Cannot change Visible in OnShow or OnHide


After that nothing works and I have to quit the whole program.

Today I had to quit in the middle of British football games and the strategies went out of the window.

This is annoying and program feels unusable...

Any suggestions?

What is the maximum number of triggers, markets, refresh rates etc? I like to bet as many football games as possible but when there are so many in-play at 3 PM GMT, is it possible?

Also my internet connection stutters with the software. Couple of times per day I get the yellow exclamation mark and I have to connect again. Before this, I didn't get it.

with you getting the yellow exclamation mark, it sounds like your internet connection is at fault or you are hitting your internet limit if you have one.
with football meetings you do not need a fast refresh rate, so set your in-play refresh rate to 10.00 or more, because if there is a goal you need to wait about 90 seconds for the prices to settle down.

Yes I have already ordered another wlan card as I have now an USB-device.

But what means OnShow or OnHide and why the program can't write settings.ini?

Make sure that nothing is preventing the program from writing onto the disk: the fact that it can't save the settings file means that it is not allowed to, i.e. there is a "file sharing violation".

Possible reasons:
- antivirus
- some other program has the settings file opened and locked it for editing
- other file system problems

I have seen this error a few times in the last week. Please screen print and send to MFP support.

I have been unable to capture it myself as the times when it popped up I was desperate to place bets in a market and just restarted MFP.

I'm currently running on a Cloud Based VPS, so I can't say what the root cause is and found nothing related to the crash in the windows even viewer.

caught it ... seems to be when there's quiet a few markets refreshing and possible 1-2 sticky one's {should be settled, but aren't} ... happened while i was switching markets.

It looks like where there are many markets refreshing, one of them is already writing to the settings file when you switch to another and initiate a new settings file update.

I will see what can be done about it.
