Problem with crashing market feeder
« on: 12 Mar 2017, 17:20 »
Hi,

I have quite a big problem.

Market feeder is giving me error There is no enough space in storage to perform this operation (i do not know the ciorrect english error, because I needed to translate it from my language).

It appears on only one my trigger - even though it is not monitorring to many markets. i got trigger that monitors more markets and more triggers inside and does not have this error.

This trigger in particular have 4 triggers inside:

1 -Lay (only on one market per game)
2. - Green up
3. - adjust how many bets are in play
4. - delete markets that are monitored for 10 minutes but are without bets

Additionally to that market locator is working on scheduled once per hour.

So in theory this should be plug and play working without my actions - but from time to time i got that error (once or twice a day). I got quite strong computer 16GB memory, win10 and i7.

Is any resolution to that? Application never take more than 15% of resources of my computer (all together with other aplications.)

Hello!

This error does not imply that you do not have enough RAM. Rather it indicates that the program has opened too many threads and is unable to open any more.
A thread is needed to perform a slow operation, like connection to the Internet. Which means MF Pro is opening too many connections to the Internet, like refreshing markets, updating your funds or statement. This could be because you are having too many markets refreshing at the same time, or if they are refreshing at a high rate.

Please provide the details as to how many markets you are refreshing and how frequently.

Hi,

I was thinking it might be the problem, but i was testing different trigger with 8 markets per one game and it is working mostly fine.

So for this one:

5-20 markets, refresh rate 0,20 (it looks like it gatheres somewhere some data and it becomes too heavy - even though markets are deleted - blind guess)

But refreshed markets if no bet, then are deleted after 10 minutes.

Second trigger without issue handles 24 markets (8 markets for 4 games) in the same refresh rate (that trigger that i requested for learning) and sometimes more, but I can confirm 24 was working without issue. Here no markets are deleted.

I forgot to add

0,20 refresh for in-play
4,00 refresh starting 10 minutes before the start

20 markets at 0.2 sec does sound too much. Try reducing this number or slowing down the refresh.

You might also benefit from the latest fix, in case you are executing triggers with tennis or football variables:

Thanks for answer. I added some constrains so I do not have so much markets and it looks it works a bit better, just from time to time access violation error. Also I see that real money mode is more stable than test, in comparison of two versions of similar triggers running simultaneously (one on real money, one on test). I will try with refresh, but I need to wait until weekend - when it is full of events. I like testing software to the  limits. I hope I will be able to to maintain proper stability as I am planning to subscribe to this software - a lot of fun :) Great job.
