  • With the new version I can't put bets. This is the error:

    There is an error with an action that has caused the entire order to be rejected INVALID_CUSTOMER_ORDER_REF INVALID_CUSTOMER_ORDER_REF

    With the previous version NO ERROR at all.

  • I haven't updated to the new version as my trading does not involve any of the update items.
    However,  I'm getting a lot of
    Error while updating the account statement: CODE_500.
    in the program log. This only started happening today when the new version was released

    This error message is generated by the Internet connection library used in the version 8.7.4.1. If you keep using it, you will likely be getting more of these errors. If you switch to the newer version, with another library, you will stop getting these errors (and hopefully won't be getting any new ones!).

  • Yes I have reverted back to the older version. I am running in compatibility mode and as an administrator. New version very slow in loading data, and will not organise markets correctly by time.
    I know the speed is not down to my connection I get, down 890 Mbs up 85.5 Mbs. When using the older version it is fine.

    I'm afraid we won't be supporting the older version in the future. 

    It takes long to load the silks (specifically the images of jockey's clothes). If you turn them off, the markets will be loading faster.

  • Ok, turned off download silks and this, work around, seems to have fixed speed issues, also now lists markets by starting time

  • Thanks for letting me know. The loading of the silks images is not part of the BetFair API, hence the delay. I'm looking for ways to speed this up.

    sorry but betfair is at the moment updating/altering this that and the other , in the past years I would always give betfair at least 3 months after a new upgrade  before betting live because there system is very large and 1 alteration creates multiple error's/bugs.
