  • Does anyone know of a way to speed up the system so it matches a bet quicker?  On test mode my system has an 80% win rate (horse racing) but on live data it can't match the bets quickly enough.

    Thanks.

  • Yarr... it's relatively easy to make money in test mode... welcome to a whole new world of pain getting bets matched in real mode...I think there is a setting you can use in the settings to simulate the delay you get in real mode.. this might help?

  • Thanks, I've just seen the setting.  My trigger will need a tweak in order to get a quicker matched bet I think!

Do you know if anyone on here is making any life changing amounts or are we all in it for the fun of finding the holy grail of triggers?

  • Here? Not sure... probably, but I doubt I could count them on more than one hand!

  • Yes you're probably right.  I can make a tiny profit per day but I don't think it will cover the subscription charge and my electricity bill combined!

  • Increase your stakes then!?

  • It's a trigger that basically bets on sure fire winners just before the end of the race (horses).  Good hit rate but poor odds.  Increasing stakes without a huge starting balance is a recipe for disaster as the trigger also seeks to recoup any previous losses + previously lost profit (It's set at a fixed profit per race).  If I hit a losing streak the cumulative amount soon builds up, although it's never hit a losing streak of anymore than 3.

    I'll keep tweaking it.

  • Ha .. one of the first things I tried doing...! Good luck with it.... I fear you may come to the same conclusions about the strategy as I did though!

  • You might be right!  I take it you're still plugging away trying to find a decent trigger?  How long have you been at it?
