  • Had a problem tonight with repeated error 32500 in the program log, also API error no session, and eventually a warning in MF7 to the effect that there was a problem with my betfair token - the program is having to log you in too often (or words to that effect).

That gives rise to a number of questions for me:

    1. What is the typical cause of that problem?
    2. Is there anything I can do to prevent it happening again?
    2. What would have happened had I not been watching my screen and able to take over with some manual betting - there was a countdown timer to something, but I didn't  have time to work out what it was.

    Thanks in advance.

Technical problems on the BetFair API server.

    Most probably not.

The countdown timer is for you to read the message before the program closes down. It can't work without the session anyway. You wouldn't be able to do manual betting either.

It is very frustrating, I know!

  • Thanks Oxa

With what frequency does that happen?  Being new to this game, I've just no idea whether this will be a regular problem?

Is there any way to get the program to email or text when MF7 shuts itself down like that?

I'm afraid users receive API_ERROR errors quite regularly, sometimes when there are planned maintenance on BF servers, sometimes just out of blue. Contacting their support usually ends in being asked to try again later. I can't tell how often this happens, maybe others will share their experience, but I'd say definitely not every day, sometimes not every week.

I'm sorry, but there is no such notification available in MF7 at the moment. But I will definitely add this to the wish list for the next update.

  • Hi Oxa

What do you mean?  Is this feature (email notification) already in the latest version?

If yes, how to enable it?

    This is in:
Settings > Look and Feel > Security > Send email alert upon the frequent losses of the API session
