Hi,

the attached trigger is making 8.7.5.6 incredibly unstable.
It's completely random as to how long it runs for before crashing.
Might be a couple of days, might be within minutes of the last restart.
It has crashed on me 3 times this evening, hence the trigger (pun intended) for the email.
If editing and saving the trigger file, the reload button often remains red even after pressing reload.
And then it will crash shortly afterwards.

There's clearly something in this file that MFP doesn't like.
As I say, it's not mine.
I downloaded it off the "triggers" page on the website,

regards

Hi Oxa,

I'm fascinated what this is going to tell you!

Are you going to say set "Delete finished events automatically except for the last 5" I wonder!

Hi Oxa,

I just set the "Delete Markets when Finished" setting with the option to keep the last 5 and it crashed about 2-3 minutes later.  No warnings, no exceptions thrown - it just disappeared.

It had been running since last night!

A bit of an odd one I think.

Going to restart it in a couple of minutes once the "an instance with that profile is already running" thing behaves itself!

I'm puzzled to be honest.
Try clearing your old logs. Find this folder and delete it:

c:\Users\%username%\MarketFeeder Pro 8\profiles\Default\logs

Then restart MF Pro.

BTW, if you want to hide your real funds on screenshots, just press ALT and click on the available funds label.

Hi Oxa,

okay, logs cleared from the default directory.

I've 10 different profiles in the c:\users\%username%\MarketFeeder Pro 8\profiles directory.
Can't see that that is relevant but just thought I'd mention it.

Let's see if that makes any difference,

hit a "post" key of some sort too soon!

PS thanks for the "Real Funds" tip.  That was a new one on me (obviously!)

Hi Oxa,

No crash today so far.
Clearing logs and/or deleting all but last 5 markets seems to have improved things.
I'll keep you posted of any further issues,
