  • hi
in you settings at the top of the bot screen
    general options
make sure that you have NOT ticked the delete (settled or finished ) events automatically .
because this trigger need the last race result before it can place another bet

  • Hi
Are you possibly betting below the minimum in the Dutch? You can check for the error message in the Program Log. If so, change the Betting Options setting: allow small bets.

If the above checks out OK, please have a look at the trigger logs. They should give you a good idea of what is happening or not. Please look in the trigger log of the Dutching trigger for this condition:
Previous Triggered Event's Status is settled.
If it returns FALSE then the program is not getting the last result and we know where to look to try to correct it. Let us know.

  • Hi Mark,

    thank you for your reply.

I am not betting below min dutch bets.

However I checked the Trigger Logs and they say exactally what you suggest. That is the market has not settled.

I don't understand this as I use the Trigger on only the one race menu and there is a min of 40 minuted between races. My account is either debited or credited after the first race.

Any further help would be appreciated.

    All the best.

  • Hi
    Please check your settings:
Test Mode > Event Results > only item ticked should be Download results from Betfair...
Test Mode > Bet Settlement Simulator > nothing should be ticked
Monitoring Options > Market Refresh > Stop monitoring.... should be unticked

I just tested the Dutch Back trigger and it works fine on 1st and subsequent markets, so it must be in your settings.

  • Hi Mark,

checked my Statement Settings and the 3 arrowed fields you indicated were as they should be.

In Statement Settings I noticed that I have "UK Wallet" ticked (as you do), would this course a problem if my betfair account uses my Australian Wallet for funds as I bet on Australian Horse racing?

    All the best.

  • Yes you need to have Aus wallet and Aus/NZ markets selected.  If you had mentioned Aus markets at the beginning, this could have been solved straight off :)

  • Thank you for your reply Rubold.

If that was the case why would my first bet work and my Australian Account be debited or credited accordingly?

    All the best.

  • If your trigger log indicated that the previous event was not settled, then selecting the Aus wallet and Aus/NZ markets should allow the program to declare the markets settled.  The first bet worked, because the Dutch trigger will fire, if it has not fired previously in this session, or the Previous Event is settled.

If you allowed Aus markets/wallet and it still doesn't work. there must be another factor preventing the program from establishing the markets are settled.  Obviously, update the Aus wallet every 15 sec, rather than the figure mark showed in his screenshot.   Could be anti-virus/firewall issues, but if first bet is placed on the live market that is unlikely.

I  personally had no problems working on the  Aussy markets, although I have only traded on Tennis, as I know absolutely nothing about the horseracing ???

  • Thanks again Rubold.

I will tick the Aussie Wallet and see how I go tomorrow. Its after 10pm here now.

I don't believe it's a anti virus or firewall problem because the first bet loads fine and the trigger starts monitoring the subsequent bets 1 min before the jump like it should. It just doesn't place the 2nd,3 rd and 4th bets like it should 15sec s before the jump.

    Thanks again for your time.

  • Hold the phone!

It worked today after ticking Australian Wallet.

Am I safe to assume if it works in Test Mode ite will work with real money so long as my account balance is OK?

Thanks to all those who assisted.
