  • We have reasons to believe that the people who manage to log in are those who have downloaded and installed the recent Windows update.

Turns out, the new update changed the default security protocol used to connect to websites.

BetFair now requires this new protocol to be used at all times.

So please try doing the "Easy Fix" suggested by Windows:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3140245/update-to-enable-tls-1-1-and-tls-1-2-as-default-secure-protocols-in-wi#easy

Download the MSI file and follow the instructions.

Please post here as soon as you have something to report.

Does it work both via the browser and the build-in form?

  • Yep, works perfect here too, both secure browser and built in form.

    Cheers

  • You could also try the new MarketFeeder Pro setup in which we've included the fix:

    MarketFeeder Pro 8.7.3.3

  • Applied the Easy  Fix on Windows 7 Ultimate laptop.
Now able to login via built-in form and secure browser.

However it did not work on my MFPro dedicated laptop running Windows XP Professional
(Not Windows 7 Home as previously stated).
It says the Easy Fix is not applicable to my operating system.
    Downloaded and ran MFPro 8.7.3.3.
    Still {error: Unable to send request, 33, code: The operation has been cancelled}

Hmmm...perhaps it's because it's an "old" operating system.

    Googling led to https://www.smartftp.com/en-us/support/kb/2754
Followed the instructions but still not able to login. Same error.

Anyone able to run MFPro on Windows XP?

For older versions of Windows, you need to download and install the latest updates for those systems.

  • Windows XP hasn't been supported for a few years now.  I have had no problems with Windows Server 2012 R2, even though I haven't installed any recent updates.

  • That's tough. We're looking for some alternative ways to fix this problem for the users of the older versions of Window.

  • I'm also getting the Unable to send request, 33, code: The operation has been cancelled error on Windows XP.

  • And for Windows 8 x86?

The patch is not compatible with my OS

  • We are working for a fix that would enable the users of older Windows systems to log in to MF Pro.

    I will update you ASAP.
