Hi,
I'm running MF7 (latest version) on Windows Server 2003. It has been running fine for over a year. However, 2 days ago, without human intervention, MF7 stop updating markets and start logging some errors. I restarted it and since then I was unable to login again.
The error message presented when attempting to login and on the program logs is:
"
Unable to send request, 33 A security error occurred; Empty XML; Current Betfair status: online"
Please note that, although there are other topics related to login errors, I was unable to find one related to "Security error".
Things I have tried so far,
without success:
- turned OFF Windows Firewall
- turned OFF Antivirus
- ran several malware/trojans removal tools
- reviewed Internet Explorer proxy settings (no proxy)
- checked permissions on MF7 installation folder (Program Files) and user folder (Document and Settings)
- tried to login with different MF7 profiles
- checked for anormal processes running
- checked my BF7 billing is up-to-date
- confirmed no Windows updates have been installed
- restarted the server several times
- checked DEP is disabled
- checked Internet Enhanced Security is disabled
Also, as a side note, I can successfully access the Betfair website.
I also ran the Troubleshooter application, which fails on "Accessing Sports API" screen but is unable to fix.
I have attached both the MF7 Program Logs (relevant part) and the Troubleshooter log.
