Universal staking plan
« on: 04 Feb 2016, 13:28 »
Universal staking plan is working as it should, but I have noticed an anomaly.

If a race does not have a selection (eg no bet if odds on), the bet counter still increases or decreases depending on the value of hist_1_pl. This means that if there was no bet on the last race, the counter will still adjust as if there was a bet on the "no selection" race. If there are a few no selection races in a row, this could pose a problem.

Is there a work around please?

hi
i have tested the Universal sequence staking plan and it works ok.
if there is no bet placed and a settled market with 0.00 , the bet amount and number of steps stay the same for the next race.
please could you include your trigger so that i can test it.

Apologies mcbee, I had changed market's settled p/l to hist_1_pl as it seemed to be quicker. I will test again and let you know the result.

I was trying to recall why I changed the trigger from "market's settled p/l" to "hist_1_pl". I think it was because the settled pl seemed to take for ages to apply and many races were being deleted in the interim. This occurred on race days with many races.

I ran universal yesterday on Aust races where there were around 90 races, and it did not work very well, with slow settlements.

I will keep watching it over the next week to see if it remains consistently slow.
