Hi Mark
thanks
Physical memory is 1,25 gb after around 20 minutes and an hour later is the same
CPU usage is 37% after 20 mins and once again despite the platform being locked up remains at 37%

The connection is ASDL with download at 2278kb upload at 525kb

Not sure how to check router stats but will look into that in the morning.
Thanks again

Try doing a search for this term on Google - "slow running programs windows 7". All sorts of possible things to go wrong and people have been having problems for at least two years. I haven't been able to go through all the posts but the two that seem to crop up most often are :

(i) Kaspersky interference,

(ii) physical malfunction of the HDD.

In view of all the problems others have had, I have a gut-feeling that MFP is not causing the problem. It's something else, but what ?

Is it possible that you have a faulty HDD ? Certainly, get rid of all anti-virus programs.

Thanks for this contribution Nigelbleddfa1
it's interesting that the PC works perfectly and quickly with a multitude of other programs running at the same time at the V6 platform which is frozen. When i turn the triggers off all the functionality is rapid once more on the platform and only running a dozen or so triggers allows the bot to resume normal functionality.
So in every regard the PC seems perfect except when the triggers are turned on.
Thanks for this

hi
i have been running v6 and v7 with windows 7 on a 2.13 gz, 1gb ram for about 9 months with no problems, but my win 7 is not updated (due to been a copy).

you are going to have to re-check your triggers and find the one/ones that are causing the hang problem.
this could be due to bet amount been less than .01
trigger trying to get info that is not available etc
one or more triggers are looping, one trigger waiting for the other to respond etc.
maybe with your old computer, it would give an error or just crash, but because you have win 7 and more memory the bot can go a lot longer now before it crashes/errors

Hi Guys
GREAT NEWS !!!
Normal service has been resumed thanks to all the suggestions here. I have been wrestling with this now for about 3 weeks and you guys fixed it in 3 hours!!

Not sure exactly what it was, but the compatibility fix seemed to improve things when i did it for a subsequent time (thanks MARKV) .

We also increased virtual memory to the max and just to confirm no bets are ever under the minimum unless its a hedged position just before the off, (thanks Mcbee).

Martin Steigner suggested turning trigger logging back on as this made V6 more stable which i did and now everything is lovely again (nice work Martin).

I switched logging off by default some time back as someone suggested that this could actually slow things down., but things are running great again now.

WHAT A BRILLIANT bunch of guys you are THANKS A MILLION!
