Who won the race?
« on: 19 Feb 2013, 12:55 »
Hi All/WDS,
I have a trigger...  DGrp  ...that remembers a selection group for Dutching.

I have another trigger that operates in settled markets that reads:

Selection's Trigger Expression sel_place is equal to 1
AND Trigger DGrp Number of runs per selection is greater than 0

...basically...check if the winner in the current settled market is among the group remembered for that market.

Problem is...sometimes it works fine and at other times it returns FALSE to 1st condition with the logs showing all selections having sel_place = 0 despite the market having declared the winner with the "WINNER" label.

In monitoring this problem I've noticed sometimes a market is declared "Finished" ...and MFPro automatically stops refreshing it... before it's "Settled" but (I suspect) the trigger is interpreting the "Finished" flag as equal to a "Settled" flag.

Am I right? ...in which case surely MFPro should only stop refreshing "Settled" markets AFTER any trigger set to operate in it has had a chance to run.

Note: In Settings, under Monitoring Options, Stop Monitoring events at xxx etc is UNTICKED.
Also...markets ARE NOT deleted after "Finished" or "Settled"
If you lose...don't lose the lesson!

Hi
Is this happening in Test Mode? If so please check Test Mode settings that either Event Results or Settlement Simulator is used. If both are used together they will interfere with each other.

Hi,
No, it's happening in real mode and besides, only Event Results is ticked under Test Mode.
I guess sometimes the Betfair result via their RSS feed takes a long time to come through.

You may be right. A while back mcbee reported erroneous results through the rss feed like soccer results mixed up with greyhounds, and also long delays. I think he re-wrote his triggers per meeting to allow for these delays.

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
