won't lay at 1.01?

The following condition won't let me lay at 1.01

"Checking condition and Selection's Back Price is between r_ticks(lay_price,-td) and lay_price."

I've got it set for 2 tick difference between back and lay price so i'm laying in a liquid market (football matches)

any ideas what i've done wrong?

You could try

g_ticks(back_price,lay_price) is less than 2

Also, conditions will not be met if there is no money waiting at either price, so you may have to consider allowing for that ie there is no lay price or no back price.

selections trigger expression g_ticks(back_price, lay_price) is equal or less than 2
