Works in test not in real money
« on: 14 Nov 2013, 14:32 »
This seems to work in test mode but in real life it doesnt seem to recognise there is money matched in the lay market so doesnt fire the back.

In test this is not an issue and it passes this condition.

Interesting to note it doesnt show my money in real money mode.

I will attach some pictures to show this.

In test mode it will show I have money in the market and there will be the firgures in green or red to show this but in real money mode it doesnt happen.

Pretty dissapointing and costly for me! luckily only using small stake.

so as you can see from the pictures there is a small amount of money exposed in the market but it doesnt show however when using the exact same stakes in test mose it shows.

I also opened up another piece of betfair betting software I have and it shows up in that so curious and frustrating as to why it doesnt show up here.

How many markets are refreshing simultaneously and what are your Connection Monitor settings (please attach a screenshot).

Please find attached.

The more I think about it the more annoying it is as I realise this has been going on for quite a while now.

So while I was testing and getting good results with various triggers in test mode, when I put them into real money mode they have failed and lost me a fair chunk of money.

The past couple of weeks I have tried the system while I thought it was my error on having a bad trigger it seems there is a problem with the program its self.....

Also as you can see from the picture I was testing it on the horse win markets so it was only one and two at max markets active at the same time.

Again it works fine in test mode.

Do you have enough funds in your account to cover the bet(s) liability?

I do yes its the back bet that isn't firing so I don't have to work out the liability.

The back bet doesn't fire because for some reason the program doesn't register that the initial lay bet in the market even though I can see that I have liability in the box in the top left of the screen.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Are you bets updated individually for each market? Is this setting turned on in "Betting Options"?

This box is unchecked in settings is this the cause of the issue?

hi asjames
in your first screenshot what selection did you place the lay bet on, i ask this because your screenshot is showing 2 markets been monitored,if the bet was placed in the 14:50 , no liability will be shown in the 14:55 .
also for a back bet, you need a minimum of 2.00 PLUS your bet amount if betting below the limit.

This was not a one off it happened in the markets all day today as in every single market and once I realised it wasn't a trigger error and started to think this has been going on for a long time.

There is enough funds in my account to cover the back bet. Also the account limit exposed message doesnt come up and the trigger doesnt even attempt to fire because one of the conditions is that a lay bet is matched but as marketfeeder doesnt show the lay bet (even though betfair itself and other betting programs do) the condition isn't met so the trigger doesn't attempt to fire.

Once again thanks for the suggestion.

hopefully get this resolved soon as I like the program but this is disheartening and expensive!

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
