wrong bets

I am in test mode and I found a bet had been placed on the distances which I had not made . it should not have been, as in my markets all i had in there was ...uk and ireland place markets.

It would be helpful if you can post the trigger log which made the wrong bet, like you did before, but the trigger log showing the conditions and the bet.

was trying out 2nd fav trigger

13:25:00   Checking market "Horse Racing / IRE / Winning Distance / 13:35 Naas (Dist) 6th Jan".
13:25:00   Checking condition or Second Favourite's Lay Price is less than 4.
13:25:00   Condition is: TRUE. valid for 1 selections: Champagne F win by over 6 l..
13:25:00   Going to LAY on 1 selections:


      Champagne F win by over 6 l., £ 10.00 at 2.88;Unmatched bets will be cancelled at In-Play.

trigger is laying the 2nd fave if under 4 and green up .
basically the distances should not have been in my markets ,unless it was my mistake and secondly the trigger should not have layed it as it is nothing to do with distances !

the other problem is that inside the trigger editor I try to change the percentage which I can do ..but when i hit save  it doesnt keep the change

Thanks - got it.

Can't see a problem with the trigger file, although it is a little thin on conditions. I suggest you add a condition:
and Market's Name does not contain "Distance"

You could also make a trigger which will delete those markets before your betting starts.

Also, if you are loading your markets using the Market Locator, add a property:
Market's Name does not contain Distance.

The triggers are shown to operate in Win markets, but in your first post you say only Place markets are loaded?

No problem saving the edited trigger file with the Dist Loss % changed.
Try Saving As ...to desktop just to check it.

I am a new chum and hust downloaded and tried to use the trigger
for auto lay greenup and When I looked at logs I see the message "inappropriate Market status (in play) what am I doing wrong ?

You selected not to execute trigger in-play. See "market status" field of the trigger.
