Triggered betting / Re: Problem with timing of calculations
« Last post by djmotion on 26 Oct 2024, 17:47 »Just replying to this in case it helps someone else. So it was working fine but eventually I had a bet placed before calculations were performed again. I'm pretty confident it's because the win/loss time is taken at the same point as the calculations are performed so because the bet is being placed before calculations. The conditions in the trigger will use wl_time from the previous event before the one just settled so therefore now_time-wl_time will equal greater than the 120 second time delay,
I haven't programmed it yet but I'm thinking I'll be added 24 hours to wl_time during inplay when a bet is matched on that event. That will make now_time-wl_time a negative number and will be less than my time delay of 120 seconds.

I have added the appropriate global current time instruction to the conditions for each individual trigger, but this has resulted in each such trigger not firing at all. All my triggers have a condition "markets minutes before off equal or less than (say) 1" I have added global condition as first condition and alternatively as last condition but with same non firing result. Your guidance would be much appreciated. pjmsHi
It would be much easier to help if you could attach the trigger so I can test it?

This should hopeful counter it placing bets at the wrong time. Do you think it will work? Trigger placing bets number of runs in the market is less than max_bet OR Previous triggered event status is settled and previous triggered event minutes since last suspension is equal or greater than 1Hi
I tested those conditions in Time Machine and they work fine

I seem to have issues with my mf pro software just randomly stopping betting which usually happens every few days so I have to reset the software which isn't ideal as it may impact results.
Been looking at getting the BetVPS. I'm just wondering if it's worth it and reliable? I've set my triggers up to calculate all future stakes so if I can just click go and it runs consistently and reliably I shouldn't have any issues.
