switch test mode on/off in time machine

Is it possible to use the "switch test mode on" while using the time machine so that i can test a strategy before i make it live?

The Time Machine works only in the test mode.
You can't place real bets in the past ;-)

Hi, I also ran into this stone wall while trying strategies with time machine.

Could it be possible to make the lite version of X-feeder have a virtual "Real Funds" also just like the "Test funds" ?

So that way strategies involving "switch test mode ON" and "Switch test mode OFF" could be tested without any risk.

I think it would be really nice to have the possibility to change the "Real Funds" also, and not only the "Test funds" because you can't bet with real money in the lite version anyways, and the thing would be using "Test funds" in "Test mode" and "Real Funds" when "Test mode" is off.
It would be using test funds in both cases but from different sections, so you can watch what happens to the good one, as you try out your triggers.

OK, we'll have to think about it.
But please mind that there are still some limitations to Test Mode which make it different from betting in real mode. E.g. it can't split your bet into matched and unmatched parts in case there is not enough money in the market.

No news about my request ?
I am using X-Feeder and Time Machine right now, but my goal is to test strategies with Test Mode on and off and I can't do this without X-Feeder Lite being modified to have all funds virtual.

Alex, I took notice of your request, but I can't guarantee anything at the moment. Introducing virtual real funds would require a lot of programming and testing. This is not something that could be done in a week.

So, this idea will be cared of in good time. I will appreciate if you give me more ideas. 

No, I have no other requests or ideas for now.
I think the rest of the program works fine and the only thing I lack is a more detailed P/L chart, and a way to test the "TEST mode" on and off feature.

Hello folks.
How about this:
Make two different test funds available and treat one as though it is the real money. Then you can backtest with the trend activated and switch between the "real" test funds and the "supposed" test funds

Yeah, already doing that.  It was already suggested in a post.
You just need to play with user variables as test balances and then add last_wl to the balance depending on whether you are in virtual test mode or virtual live mode, just the same as if you were switching test mode on/off in the real world.

If you don't bet every game then make sure you add the following condition to the triggers that update your virtual balances

Channel's Previous PL is not equal to 0
