  • Hi all

New user here, take it easy on me  :)

I'm using the software on 2 different markets.  Both of which run at the same time - horses and greyhounds.

I want to carry my losses over to the next race, but only within the same market. i.e. I don't want to be recouping a horse loss on the next dog.  I operate VERY different stakes between the two, so for obvious reasons don't want too much being laid on the other market.

Is there any way to keep a loss in that block and not carry across to the other?

All help appreciated!  Thanks in advance.

  • you can use the hr_ prefix for horse race profit/loss

    so hr_last_pl, hr_last_won etc

I believe gh_ is for greyhound though I'm not sure, the manual will tell you

  • Thanks G.  5 losing days from 118 and where the max loss has been under 1.5% of the bank with the bank almost trebling in size in that time suggests otherwise  ;)  This is real funds by the way, not using test mode - and a fairly sizeable bank.

But, yes, I agree in general with what you say.  Unrestricted recouping of any loss and without limits will lead to doom sooner rather than later without a doubt!
