Poker Trigger Help Please
« on: 01 Dec 2010, 15:54 »
Hi Guys

I've written a trigger and I'm struggling with one part of it.

Its for poker and I want to lay the fav in the second round but not if the cards are of the same suit and close to each other, i.e clubs 6 and 8, or spades 4 and six.

I can't see an option for this.  I apologise in advance if its simple and I can't see the obvious.

Thanks

Darren

Do you want to exclude all favourites that have suited cards, or only those that have a gap of 2?

Do you want to exclude favourites that have a gap of 2, but aren't suited?

What about cards in sequence?   eg. K,Q  do you want these excluded, whether suited or not?

I understand your request, but just wondered if it was comprehensive enough.

Hi Rubold

Thanks for the reply.

I want to lay all favs on the second round.  But I do not want to bet if the fav has the same suit AND are nearly consecutive or are consecutive, all values up to K,A.

I am trying to avoid a straight being dealt in later rounds.

I do want to lay if its the same suit only and are not consecutive or nearly.

Hope that makes sense.

I've attached the lay trigger you need.
Please note that I have employed - Conditions are not met - for the logic.

There are only a few games where the conditions prevent a bet.  Unless you are doing some other things, I don't think you'll find this profitable.

Hi Rubold

Thanks for the trigger.  I was making some slight changes to it.  I added a max price, greened up after certain conditions etc.

Anyway it did not work with the changes.  You were correct.

I got this strategy off the internet.  It was advertised to win 95% of the time! Ha

Well it was a free what should I expect.

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
