Reset default back to 2 after new P/L high?

Hi,

I wonder if anyone could help.  As part of my trigger i wish to reset the default back to 2 after the profit/loss reaches a new high.

I've tried setting a user variable 'high_pl' if channels total won is greater than or equal the value in 'high_pl' , then Ive added set default back to 2 if channels total won >= high_pl.  But this doesn't seem to work. 

Is there a easier way of doing it?
