Can be installed on a 64 bit Windows (2003 or 2008) ?

Sure.

Our software is 32-bit one (it doesn't use 64 bit advantages) so it runs on 64 bit OS.
Don't forget to add the executable into DEP exceptions (because 2003 and 2008 are server OSes):
