Hi I have made a simple trigger that backs at first matching selection between 1.30 and 1.40

And it works ok, but what I need is. After the back bet is matched at say for instance 1.35 and then decides to suddenly go up to 5.00 or 6.00, how can I set the second part of the trigger to say for instance if the back is matched and then the price rises to between 5.00 and 6.00 lay between 5.00 or 6.00

Sorry I may not have explained this properly may be this would work better.
Back the first horse that reaches odds between 1.30 and 1.40 in play and if the back gets matched and the price goes up then lay at odds between 5.00 and 6.00, this way if the horse won I would win the back bet, but if the horse lost I would win the lay bet providing that the horse does not come down again but I will work on that. Any clue on how I can set this up please.

Thanks in advance

I have attached my settings so far in a word document for those who need to look at it.

Any help would be so gratefully appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Darkhorse,

ok this is not too difficult although in running, winners often come in below even, right down to your 1.3  , go back out to anything like 10/15/20 and then rush back in and win.

This would mean your potential liability could be enormous, but that's what TEST mode is for :)

All you need to do is create a second trigger, that places a lay bet at 6's, on any selection with a matched back amount and price greater than 5

So

Action = Lay
Markets = Horse Races
Status = In Play
Price = 6
Selection = First matching selection

Amount = up to you, I would simply cover your loss on the back bet, so enter bm_backa

Conditions

Any selections back_matched is greater than 0

AND fitting selections back_price is greater than 5

Hope this helps, anyone else reading that see's a better way please post!

Cheers

Rich...:)

Hi rich , have been busy trying out the trigger, it seems to work fine although I think when the horse starts to shift up after reaching 1.40 it shifts fast making it hard for the trigger to get a match on the lay side, after saying that I only had 4 UN-MATCHED LAYES, I had a horse today at 1.10 and drifted to 6.00 I managed to get a lay matched at 5.00.

The results at the end of the day where very good  in deed I was very please. Here are the results from today’s racing, I am using a £20 bet.

TOTALS   WIN & LOSS
STARTING BANK £300.00
WIN   £6.84
WIN   £7.60
LOSS -£20.00
LOSS -£20.00
WIN   £7.22
WIN   £6.65
LOSS -£20.00
WIN   £5.89
WIN   £6.08
WIN   £6.08
WIN   £6.27
WIN   £5.70
WIN   £5.89
WIN   £6.46
WIN   £5.89
WIN   £5.70
LAY   £0.00
WIN   £7.60
WIN   £7.60
WIN   £6.84
WIN   £6.27
WIN   £6.84
WIN   £5.89
LOSS -£20.00
WIN   £6.84
WIN   £5.70
WIN   £7.60
LAY   £0.00
LAY   £0.00
LAY   £0.00
LAY   £0.00
WIN   £7.60
WIN   £7.22
LAY   £0.00
WIN   £6.08

WINS   25
UN-MATCHED LOSSES 4
LAYES MATCHED 6

PROFIT £84.35
TOTAL  £384.35

Not a bad result for an afternoon's work. I will test for a week and post every days results, and I know what you are thinking, there will be a horse that drifts out and back in again to win, well it will happen just hope I can cover it and still have a profit in the long term.

Thanks again for your time and help.
