Oxa, i guess i finally understood what happened latelly with betfair. Mainly the reason why they supressed the offer of some markets in football matches (Correct Score, Half Time Markets and others). My idea is that due to the pandemy there was an increased pressured over their servers. So, they started by changed the templates, cutting the offer of many markets. Then, as it was possibly not enough, they felt the need to go over the accounts of who was demanding the most data. It´s just a theory but i shouldn´t be that far from the true. I should have understood the signals but as i didn´t i am on this situation now.
I will contact Head of API on Monday and consult him on what is the general policy for such cases and whether anything can be done about it.
Unambiguous guidelines are fundamental. On my defense, i can say that should they revert the decision i will 100% follow them. I firmly think i am a couple of months away from arriving to the "big amounts" and as a premium charge payer, it´s easy to see that if i can do that while i restrict my data use, i can make them earn lots of money, as i already did before. On a business ground to my case and certainly to most of the others must be given a 2nd change. Should betfair decide later that we are not good commercial partners they can, at anytime, close, again, the account. They just shouldn´t procede the way they are currently. Fair or unfair, it was unquestionably unexpected. That would be the right path.
I've been monitoring 200-300 markets weekdays and even 400+ weekends so don't really want to get kicked out. No idea if just "monitoring markets" is what they are upset about or volume placed as well. Don't know what about other people, I dont stake much, around 5k a week .
I would say i open more markets than you. I wouldn´t call it monitoring as i had to open all the markets i might need to place the bet and not the ones i "really" would need later on the game (i work on current Under over+0.5, so i needed to open on the biginning of the game several u/o markets just to place the bet on the right market at the end). Those u/o markets were kept "alive" (1 refresh per each 4 minutes just till i was sure i wouldn't need them). So, if uou take that in consideration it would be a lower numbers of markets than yours. The amounts are still much lower than yours, as i was still increasing the number of bets and the amounts of the unitary stakes (it´s a recent bot, being tested and improved with real money). I was expecting to arrive to your values till the end of the year.
