  • As soon as BetFair checks the new version...

  • Will current triggers be transferable?
  • #4 by Tim (WellDoneSoft) on 22 Oct 2014
  • There is no change of design/routines/triggers.
The changes are in login procedure, licensing routine and communicating with BetFair API.

  • Sorry but I got lost here. When is the new API coming out?
  • #6 by Tim (WellDoneSoft) on 07 Nov 2014
  • It's already live.
The problem is the old one will stop 10th Nov.

  • What will happen if you are running V6 or V7 and leave it running into 10th Nov?

    Will it crash, stop, what?

Do you think you have better email your customers to explain?  Many people rarely visit the forum and leave it running on a VPS.

  • It's better to not run MF during that night.
To be honest even BetFair haven't announced the switching off routine.
They have postponed the deadline twice.

  • I agree with Tim. The behaviour of the old API on the night of transition is unpredictable, so it's better not to run the older versions of MF Pro starting from tomorrow's night.

We will certainly email customers with all the information on the API 6.0 retirement and the instructions on how to install the new version.

  • Having had the problem with markets not showing settled using ver. 8 on 06 Nov, that I reported on the Beta testing thread.  Yesterday I reverted to ver. 7 and out of the blue, no markets were settled, no matched bets appeared on the bet list and the statement was completely blank - resulting in no staking being operative.    All 6 bets were matched, however, and appeared on my Betfair statement.

    Very confused ???
