  • Hi,

    I have noticed for awhile the large gaps between lay and back odds on AUS horse racing, UK greyhounds, US basketball, US baseball and some non-eu soccer games.

    I spoke with a fellow trader about this and his advice was the following...

    - Find a market with a gap of >= 4 ticks.
    - Lay 25, 50, 100 and 200 in these gaps.
    - Hover with a scratch trade or 1 ticks loss if the initial 25 gets taken.

    Usually, there is a bounce up whereby you can nick 2 or 3 ticks.

    Now, I was rather sceptical but does anyone else have any thoughts on the above ?

    If it has legs then maybe a solid trigger could take advantage of this ?

    Cheers,
