Dutching & Allow Small Bets

If you uncheck "Allow Small Bets" in Betting category of the Settings and attempt a Dutch bet where one or more in the group would have an amount below the Betfair minimum, MFPro (as instructed) does not allow it BUT does allow the others to be placed on the exchange.
This means the Dutch Bet that is placed is not on all the selections you intended.

I discovered this the hard way.

My selection process highlighted 4 horses to Dutch Back on but because I had "Allow Small Bets" unchecked, bets were placed on 3 of them and not on the 4th because the amount was  below the Betfair minimum. Of course, you can imagine how annoying it was when my 4th selection won  ... with no bet on it despite being selected to be a part of the Dutch group.

It would be great if MFPro declined to place ALL the Dutch bets if one or more would have an amount below the Betfair minimum if "Allow Small Bets" is unchecked...OR an option to have the Dutch trigger adjust amounts so the minimum amount is always above the Betfair minimum.

Anyone think this is a good idea?

If as you suggest the smallest bet is £2, the largest could be huge and if none win you'll be even angrier!

why don't you just allow small bets? it'll never happen again then

just allow small bets. I never had a problem with betfair support because of small bets.

Obias, here's the condition that you can add to the trigger to prevent placing ALL Dutch bets if at least one calculated bet is below the minimum.

For Backing with Amount to win:

Trigger Expression (A*100/(100 - match_b_book))/match_matching_number_back_price is equal or greater than M

For Backing with Amount to lose:

Trigger Expression (A*100/match_b_book)/match_matching_number_back_price is equal or greater than M

For Laying with Amount to win:

Trigger Expression (A*100/match_l_book)/match_matching_number_lay_price is equal or greater than M


For Laying with Amount to lose:

Trigger Expression (A*100/(100 - match_l_book))/match_matching_number_lay_price is equal or greater than M


Where A is the amount to win or lose respectively, and M is the minimum stake size in your currency units.

Others...thanks for your suggestions. However, I prefer to not allow small bets when Dutch betting in-play because the time delay in placing below minimum bets often means the price I wanted is gone by the time the bet's on at the exchange.
