We have recently discovered that we misunderstood the terms of the Historical Data Licence, which led to a pricing scheme that was unnecessary expensive. In this case the term “meeting” was misinterpreted. A “meeting” in fact includes all markets from all races that took place in a particular venue on a particular day, e.g. Ascot 7th May, and not a single race as we believed earlier.
So the old prices apply to the whole day’s races on a particular racecourse (in horse racing and Greyhound markets).
A football or tennis meeting, however, does equal to a particular match and all associated markets (so that’s different from races).
We are truly sorry for this incident. The silver lining of this cloud is that you can buy much more markets for the same price.
For those who have already purchased some market data we have two options (we will email them separately):
1. Get a full refund on their order
2. Add new markets of their selection to their Time Machine.
You do not need to reinstall your MarketFeeder Pro in order for the new prices to come into effect.
I do apologise for this confusion and I thank rubold and nicbot, among others, for raising this question.
