In the trigger you made it keeps placing back and lay bets into the market. I only want it to place the back and lay bets on the three ranked horses and not put any more bets into the market when those ranks change in play.

It must not place any bets if the trigger has been fired on the market before.
Probably you resave / reload the triggers?
I've added conditions to avoid placing bets if you do so.
