  • Can anyone help me with this trigger I have manage to get some part but it does not place bets.

If favorite back price in the Place Market is between 1.01 and 1.30
And the 2nd Favorite in the Win Market back price is between 2 and 5
Then it should place back bet on the 2nd favorite in the Place Market if price is equal or greater than 1.30.

    Thank you.

  • You need to use the winplace variable.
You also need to monitor both markets simultaneously.

    Markets: Place Markets
    Back 2nd favourite
    In Play

    Conditions:
Selections Back Price is equal or greater than 1.3
AND Favourites Back Price is between 1.01 & 1.3
AND Selections Trigger Expression winplace_r_2_back_price is between 2.0 & 5.0

Yes that would be an extra factor to play around with, but his strategy did not stipulate that requirement.

  • Sorry for my next questions as they will seem a bit silly to you. In the instructions above it is stated that both win and place markets should be monitored. How is that done, please ?  Is it just a matter of starting both ? All my triggers work on just one market at a time.

The second question is - does the same trigger operate on both markets, please ?  Do we end up with two markets started and the same trigger working on both ?

    Thanks

  • You load the win and place markets into My Markets and  monitor all markets starting in say 0.5 min using the same refresh rate.

The trigger operates on the Place market, but needs the Win market to check one of the conditions.

  • So, although the trigger operates on the place market, that trigger is able to take information from the win market at the same time ? This is amazing software, isn't it ?

  • hi
you can take info from any amount of different market types and use the info in one trigger, using the remember market ID option.
if you were betting on football, you could take the info from all the available markets, then have a trigger to decide if it is worth betting or not.

  • Thanks to you and Rubold. I will have to take a look at the "remember market" use. The possibilities seem to be endless now. I wish I was about 15 years old. I was a clever kid who could have used this well. It's harder when one gets older but it's still fascinating.

    Thanks

  • Hi guys,

I don't know what I got wrong in this trigger. I run it all day yesterday but it did not place a single bet.  Has any one try it and got it working?

    Markets: Place Markets
    Back 2nd favourite
    In Play

    Conditions:
Selections Back Price is equal or greater than 1.3
AND Favourites Back Price is between 1.01 & 1.3
AND Selections Trigger Expression winplace_r_2_back_price is between 2.0 & 5.0

  • Better to post your trigger and a screen shot of your bot screen and someone will tell you what's wrong. The obvious answer is that all the conditions were not met.  Try running it  with just the first condition and add other conditions to see if you still get some bets.  This sort of strategy is likely to give very different results between live betting and test mode.
