  • Hoping this is really simple but I was testing my lay pro 88 trigger and I noticed it worked fine by adding to the stake after a loss and reducing stake after a win UNTIL the next day, whereby it started with the initial stake instead of a stake that should have been around double that.

I turned my computer off overnight. Does this reset market feeder so it does not remember its last stake? Or do my settings need adjusting? I have it set to delete all except last 10 markets and also to retrieve data not older than "1" day.

  • Hi
Looking at the trigger, it does not use win/lose history, so your settings are OK.
The trigger keeps a record of what it needs in user variables, so yes if you switch your computer off it will reset those variables and start from scratch.

  • So how would I go about avoiding this? I want to be able to switch my computer off, if power shuts off for a moment or it freezes I wouldn't have a choice.

  • Hi
Like many of the staking plan example triggers, they are designed to have a continual flow of markets. I can think of three possible workarounds:

Modify the trigger so each user variable has a related Constant, and set those Constants to "Remember last value"

The other two suggestions do require a "computer" with MF running:

Quite a few users run a Virtual Private Server which guarantees a very high percentage uptime along with fast internet connection. This way you only need a local computer to access the VPS, or you can access from anywhere. There is plenty discussion on here, search the forum for "VPS"

Linked to the above, but you can easily do this on a local PC that is on 24/7, use a Market Locator Template and the Scheduler to automatically load the markets.

PS just thought of another workaround, in the View Variables window, you can right-click on a variable name and edit the value, so the idea is at the end of the day you check the values and make a note of them. Then the next morning when you load the trigger, you can edit the variable values to what you had noted the previous evening.

Please use test mode when testing.

  • hi
it is a little more complicated, you have to add a new constant   current_bet    and set it to remember.
then you have to alter the first trigger amount with a formula to continue the bet size or start again.
if you have problems then request a free trigger by using this link  https://community.welldonesoft.com/marketfeeder-make-me-a-trigger/

  • Hi, I'm not sure if you got this sorted but I had the Lay Pro 88 trigger modified by the brilliant boys at Marketfeeder and it now does follow on the n ext day even if the computer is turned off over night. I can send a link to the trigger forum if it helps and if thats allowed on here? I have attached the trigger file I have used in the past. I hope its what you are looking for? Its set to 8 runners and up but this can be changed.

    Thanks
    Rob & Lou
