The attached trigger file will:
write selection volume % to column N on the market sheet at in-play
write selection volume % to column O on the market sheet at market settlement

Please ensure this setting is not checked:
Settings > General Options > Market Settings > Delete settled events automatically

Could you please modify this to record

- Market's Matched Volume 0.1 minutes before start
- Market's Matched Volume at market settlement
- All selection's back price 0.1 minutes before start

With Market's name so I can search for example different track and time.

Please find attached the amended trigger file.

Market volume at 0.1 min before start will be in cell N1
Market volume at settlement will be in cell N2
Selection's back price at 0.1 min before start will be in column N
The market_name is available at cell B1 on all market sheets and is searchable using Excel Search.

I should draw your attention to Betfair rules relating to collecting market data.

I think what you have at the moment is OK, but any more could be pushing it a bit. Just so you know.

Do you mean recording maybe too many variables..? I'm not sure if I have courage to test it..

Just want to see if there are some patterns in certain greyhound races matched volumes. Over 10 000 in certain track and maybe around 5 000 on other.

If anyone has knowledge, I appreciate your help. Before trying...

From the link the following is an example of collecting data which is not licenced:

"1.Allowing users to archive data from live before a market is settled so that the data can be interrogated in a database after settlement"

Basically, any data collected should be deleted after the market is settled and not retained.

Maybe I just write those values down, if no-one knows where to get total matched volumes for greyhound results (for different tracks)?

I don't think there will be any problem doing this using Time Machine, because all the Time Machine market data is fully licensed and can be used over and over again.

Yes. I will test it there but later when I have bought more races.

don not worry about to many variables as there is no way that betfair would know how many variables you use.
as for the betfair historical data, they are only interested IF you start monitoring every market from about 12 hours before the start time through to the actual finnish.
a few punters accounts have been closed due to this, because they monitored football matches for a long period through to the finnish,but when they explianed there system, betfair re-opned there accounts.
