  • Hi,

I want to place a back bet at SP but I don't want that bet to be placed if odds < 1.25

Is it correct to enter "1.25" in the field for price?
And I don't need to set any odds restrictions in the filter - correct?

MF settles the bet @1.25 and if there's a better price MF takes automatically the better one, right? And if the odds are < 1.25 the bet won't get matched. Correct also?

    Is my thinking o.k.?

    Fizz

  • Unfortunately the price limit for back SP bet is the minimum, not the maximum.
So everything below is correct for lay bets.
It's better to read BetFair's FAQ about SP rules:
    http://help.betfair.com/faq/index.en.html
    (just search for "SP")
I'm afraid there is no way to control the high limit of the back SP bet as the real SP price is unknown.

  • Thanks.

Atm I'm trying to understand what you mean with your answer
but maybe I was just a bit unclear with my question.

In my example I meant that I want to bet if there are
    minimum odds of 1.25.
    MF settles the bet @1.25

    Odds < 1.25        No Bet
    Odds >= 1.25         Bet!

  • Hi Fizz, are you still doing betting this year by any chance?
