  • My virus checker (Kaspersky) has suddenly reported a Heur.Trojan.Win32/lang.dll when I try to run marketfeederPro.

I ran a disinfect, rebooted, uninstalled mfp, ran another disinfect and downloaded a new setup exe from Welldone.

MFP runs with all text prompts showing 'error' which obviously relates to the lang.dll.
It's probably been deleted by Kaspersky. I searched the hard drive, there is no lang.dll present.

The computer is apparently running normally and only MFP is affected.

    Can anyone assist?

  • Get rid of Kaspersky. Almost certainly a false positive. These ant-virus softwares can be a "pain in the neck".

  • hi
all you have to do is allow mfp full access through you antivirus software.
also report it to (Kaspersky) and they will add it as ok to there next update.

Thank you. What threw me is that I've been using the Russians since before I installed MFP and it's never complained. I presume Kasannoyskee has done a background update and decided to tighten the scripting rules.
I finally found the exceptions area and told Kasphurtsky to leave it alone.
There's a couple of hours I'll never get back :(

  • I'm really sorry for this disruption. Please read my post in the other topic similar to this one.
