  • Hi,
I've noticed the set or game scores in tennis are not being recorded.
Either they are not received from Betfair or there is a software issue.
    The game points are fine.
I wondered if someone could look into this.
    thanks a mill.

  • Hi
Just to add to the above post, the market score is updated approx. 20sec delayed from the tennis score shown on the Betfair website, which makes it impractical for trigger use.

  • Yes, the refresh rate for the score is 15 sec.

  • Yes, the refresh rate for the score is 15 sec.
Thanks for the confirmation of that Tim. Just wondering if that can be improved, because as it stands using the market score variables we are disadvantaged by 15 seconds compared to the users of the website score.

I think there is a new live score API update due in a few weeks, would we benefit?

  • Whilst on the subject, is there anyway of knowing, prior to a match, via Betfair data, if a tennis match is over 3 sets or 5 sets ?
It would be helpful for trigger development.
Also looking forward to comments re set and game score being recorded.
    Cheers

  • Is it also possible to set the refresh rate to just 5 secs? How can this be done please?

  • Hi Pelius,

If you are referring to adjusting refresh rates of MFP then do following:
    1) settings/monitoring options   set defaults there to your requirements
    2) save and exit MFP and load program again for the new settings to take effect.

    Hi
That information is not available directly in MarketFeeder. It might become so after the forthcoming Tennis Score API is released. In the meantime you can derive the number of sets from the Set Betting market.

The attached trigger will write a message to the Action Log indicating whether the match is over 3 or 5 sets. You can modify the trigger to a Remember trigger for use in your own triggers.
