  • Hi there

Does anyone have any idea why my MFP windows keep closing?

I have checked the Program logs and I am getting either "EAccessViolation" or "Error while updating the account statement: EAccessViolation".

I am running MFP as an Admin and have added it to my anti virus as an exception.  Not sure what else I am missing?

Would anybody be able to assist?

    Thanks

    Neil

We are aware of this issue and are working to fix it asap. I will post an announcement on the forum as soon as we're ready to release the fix.

Right now it shouldn't affect your betting in any noticeable way.

  • Hi McBee, I'm also getting this error plus I have to manually okay bets - but only occassionally. Basically a modal dialog box pops up and says "Do you want to lay X on Y?"

How are you guys getting on with a workaround?

  • hi indigokid
yours is a basic setup problem.
open settings at the top right of the mfp screen
    general options
untick the Request confirmation for every critical operation
    save
also please look at the basic setup for mfp here

  • Cheers McBee, I figured that was it. However it only started happening when the MFP prog started closing by itself. I have never checked that box.

  • Yeah, mine keeps shutting down if I have more than one instance of the program running.
I have reverted to an older version for now.

  • Hi my window crashed again today.  That is two weekends in a row and a lot of missed bets.

Is there any update on this?

  • Hi

is there any update to this?

  • Same for me, nothing logged in the program logs.
Most annoying as it happens overnight and I miss the early AUS racing.

Does rolling back to the previous version fix it?

  • hi cash
check to see if it was windows update that shut your computer down and restarted , look at the windows update history to see when they were installed.

  • Hi Mcbee,

Yeah first thing I checked was for windows update etc (mine are postponed and then manually managed)
I even set up the same profile on a VPS and second pc.
Then as a final check created a fresh profile, trigger & market locator.

I now (as of this morning) have the original profile, running in test mode, on the -1 version and -2 version of MF just to see if I can get some stability.

    Thanks for your reply
