  • Hi,

when I kill and restart an instance of Marketfeeder Pro when running multiple instances, I cannot start the instance again, Error message is:

There is already an instance of Market Feeder Pro working with this profile of settings.
Please choose one except the following: <HorseLayAndGreenup>,<SoccerLayAndGreenup>,<TennisLayAndGreenup>,<GolfLayAndGreenup>

But this instance has been stopped before, Instance is no longer in Task Manager.

Any idea how to workaround this problem?

    Thanks
    Martin

    p.s.: Merry Christmas  !!

  • hi
i am using v7.39, just tried to load 2 of the same profile and it works ok.
i use upto 8 profiles at the same time with no problems, there are problems with v7.41 and .42 and .43
    download v7.39

    mcbee

    update
it has been removed from the download page
so you will have to check your downloads in your computer to see if you have v7.39

  • Thanks mcbee,

There is no problem when I start multiple  instances with different profiles, but I run into troubles when I kill e.g. the "LaySoccer.." instance and try to start "LaySoccer.." again.

    I will try Ver 39.

  • Hi Mcbee,
Thanks for your continued contribution to questions on the forum.
    Merry Xmas my friend.

How do you stop single instances of MFP?
I use kill feeder etc but it takes out all instances.

Mcbee, I thought all worked fine in v .43, you seemed to confirm that in your last PM to me? What went wrong?

And yes, Merry Christmas, hope you're all celebrating.

    Hi londolozi,
Why would you want to "kill" it when you can just close it down like any other program?

  • I use task manager to close MFPro automatically (unattended) using task manager.
using feeder7.exe as the target file but it takes down all instances running.

Can I close individual instances using a another switch?

That's a nice question and an idea for a new option, isn't it? What are the conditions on which you close MF Pro automatically? I.e. at certain time, after a certain action etc.

Martin, check the updated file to see if it now lets you log in under the profile that you previously killed with the Task Manager (I made some fixes).

However I strongly discourage killing the process vs closing the program down because it does some important things on exit, such as saving test bets in the file, saving the values of constants in the trigger file if you chose to remember them and some other stuff.
