  • Hi
Its getting really funky. Beside my other abnormal terminations, the MF suddenly does not find my Excel anymore. I re-installes MF and then it worked again for 1hr..then it broke again and still not finding anything. Im really getting frustrated now.
    Any idea on that one?

    Cheers

  • Check if there are any instances of Excel hanging in the computer's memory even after you close Excel down. This often happens with Excel. You can press Ctrl + Alt + Del to call up the Task Manager, then switch to the Processes tab and look for "EXCEL.EXE" in the list of processes. If it is there, close it manually and try again with MF Pro.

If it is not the case, please send me some screenshot showing what exactly MF Pro is saying when it can't find Excel (i.e. how you know that it can't).

  • I'm trying to find a solution, it doesn't look like a typical thing. I noticed you are working through a Remote Desktop. Is it your computer or a hired service?
What are the versions of Excel and Windows?

  • Hi Oxa

Sorry for the delay (but i thing you got plenty to do at the moment ;-))..
Thats right. Im running MF on a virtual server. Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter (64-Bit) with Excel 2010 an no firewall what so ever.

    Cheers
