  • Hi,

How can I start MFPRO without having to enter my Username and password every time I need to open a new profile?

Is there a setting I'm not seeing or something else?

  • You can in the current version, yes, see the Command Line settings in General Options.

But this is about to be abolished (in a month's time) due to the restrictions of the new BetFair API-NG. So it's better to consider it impossible from now on.

  •  :) ah well thanks anyway oxa

I see betangel have released a new product called trader. I haven't checked it out but I presume it will be compatible with b/f new API.

  • Thanks for the clarification too. I'm sure there will be a way for this when that time comes.

  • seems crazy that the new api is actually going to take functionality away from api products.  Currently I use a combination of automation software and mfp command line shortcuts to launch a number of different profiles every day fully automatically.  It's very useful to be able to start the days trading fully automatically, not only in terms of time saving but also on those occasions when you are out of the country or just away from your main setup.

  • To be honest it wasn't allowed even with API 5 because of the security reasons, etc. But now it's not possible to implement due to new logging in scheme.
