Hi Please see attached screenshot. The trigger records live last traded price for Under and retains the last recorded LTP in the user variable which you can use in the next OU market.

Thank you!

Triggered betting / Follow / Train the Goals
« Last post by Soccerwidow on 21 Mar 2025, 13:27 »
Hi!

I'd like to have a trigger that Backs the U 0.5 Goals ate a certain minimum price, say 10.0, and remembers the odds movement.

So, if for example after the 10th minute a goal is scored, and hence that bet is lost, then to back the next - the U 1.5

Generally speaking, that isn't the problem but I like to ask for the Back price - and not take the best available. I'd like to ask - when the market gets back in play - for the back price of the U 0.5 bet just before the market closed due to a goal.

And I'd like to follow that ladder - meaning first backing U 0.5, if a goal is scored, then U 1.5, if the next goal is scored, the U 2.5, and so on, until a price is reached, such as 5.0 - which I will set manually - when I stop following the goals and accept the loss.

The staking is simple and plain, always the same fixed stake, e.g. 0.10

Just give me please the direction to think and I should be able to write that trigger myself. Thanks a lot!

Hi Guys!

Hope you are well.

I'd like to have the file name as following:

E:\Marketfeeder\Logs\[event_off_datestr]_[English Football]_[English U21 Pro Development League]_[market_parent]

The information is there but I do not now how to extract of from the string. Can you help me, please?

Soccer / English Football / English U21 Pro Development League / Fixtures 20 Mar / Queens Park Rangers U21 v Watford U21 / Over/Under 0.5 Goals - Over/Under 0.5 Goals

And here's another issue with the naming:

event_off_datestr returns: 20_03_2025 but I would like to have 2025_03_25

Any way to do that?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Mark, I have another trigger with different rules but it's also based on the overs markets. The problem is that if I add the markets for this strategy they will get picked up by the existing trigger as well. Do I need a second license? Thanks, Mark
Hi
No you do not need another licence. You can run a second instance of the program, or more instances, each with their own settings profile. If you look in the help file in the section Login Window it explains how. Couple this with the setting in Betting Options: Ignore all bets except except those placed in the current MF profile.

It is possible to run several trigger strategies from one trigger file but the trigger conditions need to be very detailed to prevent them interfering with each other.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for testing the trigger. It's a strange one, it worked for 1 fixture yesterday then failed for all the others. Usually I can see a timeline underneath the active markets, showing the goals, match time, cards, etc. But yesterday I couldn't. I wonder if there was a problem with the betfair API? Anyway I've reloaded MF and shall monitor it today.

Many thanks for the feedback, I'm slowly learning and appreciate all the support! :)

Cheers, Mark

Hi

I tested the trigger you posted and it works ok.

The most likely reason log may show FALSE on that condition is because there have been more than 2.5 goals in the first half at triggering time. First Half Goals markets are 0.5, 1.5 and 2.5. It is feasible to trade each half separately in standard OU markets, but you would need to adjust your expected odds accordingly, and use a condition: selections trigger expression match_period is equal to 1 (or 2) in each half's trigger.

Second reason the log could show FALSE on that condition is the live score data is not available for that event
you could set up a trigger to DELETE EVENT if match_minute is greater than say 15 and score_exists is equal to 0

If it is happening in all markets then check the setting in monitoring options Download Match Score is ticked
