  • hi,

    I want to know if this has happened to you, and how fix it.

    I have a strategy where make it two bets per round (1 Back and 1 Lay).
    When I play in test mode the software make both bets always. But in Real mode sometimes one of the stakes does not make.
    e.g. 30 round does everything well, but in round 31 doesn't make one bet.

    this happens only in real mode

  • this is because I need make a bet below 4.
    So, I bet
    $4.00 - BACK to 1.85;
    and
    $4.12 - LAY to 1.86

    making a bet LAY $0.12 to 1.86.

    BUT i dont know why sometimes, doesn't bet  to the back or lay.

    - is possible fix this?
    - or, maybe there is another way of bet amounts below 4

  • It is impossible to place a bet below minimum on BetFair Games. It is equally impossible to do it in Test Mode and real money mode.

    Unlike BetFair Sports, BetFair Games have different Terms & Conditions, so they might suspend your account if they detect an attempt to place such bet.

  • oh, I didn't know this.
    So, I'll increase the amount bets.

    but, today I tried make bets with $10.
    Doing 2 Lay (1 to the the current price, and 1 to best price) but happens the same, sometimes (I dont know why) one of the bets is not sent.

    - Could it be that the program is saturated when you try to send 2 bets at the same time?

    - or, maybe "Session Timer" from betfair generate the problem.

    My advice is to check both the action log file for the channel and the trigger log file, where X-Feeder writes down the reason why a bet could not be sent.

    It can be insufficient funds in your account, since when you bet at the best price, the program places a bet at several ticks higher than the current best lay price.

    I do recommend you to read the manual.

    I check the action log file for the channel and the trigger log file. And the action is recorded here.

    Going to back in channel HILO_STANDARD (Main Bets Market) on the following selections:    Card 4 or further: $ 10.00 at 1.01

    but never send the bet. it is strange that only happens with some bets

  • This is an extract from a trigger log file. It shows what the trigger was intending to do.

    The ultimate result of this action is in the action log file: it shows whether the trigger succeeded. The action log file can be accessed by clicking on the status bar section with the appropriate channel name, or by going to "Settings" and vieweing the log file.

  • Hi I studied about the software and triggers and learned a lot but,
    this still did not understand.

    this is an extract from triggers log file and action log file

    the failure is the next, no send the bet because.

    But my balance is $ 484.60, so i thing that is EXPOSURE, but i dont know what is very well.

    Can be a configuration of the program?

  • What do you have in the setting called "When laying at best price offer ... ticks above the current lay price"? It's in the "Betting Options".

  • Well, in that case I would recommend you to contact BetFair directly, as this message is returned by their server, and it definitely means that you did not have enough funds for placing a bet at that moment.

  • Usually it doesn't help telling what particular program you were using, as there are numerous API applications, and BetFair technicians never look into this.

    What you should ask them is to tell you what kind of bet was attempted at that time, its type, price and amount, and how much money was in your games account. It may take some time for them to reply though.
