AUTOMATION by EXCEL
« on: 13 Mar 2022, 19:45 »
Hi fellas, I am new here so please be kind if I have difficult requests.

I want to bet on football, the system should be automated so will run 7/24 365 days.

My selections are generated automatically in play, as soon as there is a selection it will be added to an excel sheet. There will be 2 kinds of selections.

1) Lay the draw in a certain match in play with the current price.

2) Bet for +2 or more goals market from the current score in play ( Over 2.5 markets if its 1-0 )

So the trigger should keep checking the excel file let's say every minute, and if there is a new selection, bet accordingly.

if I want to achieve this, what should I do ? Could you help please?

Thanks a million.

Hi and welcome

Your requirement is certainly possible but it really depends on how many concurrent markets need to monitored. Basically the Excel link is very high on system resource, it would be much easier if your selections could be taken from a text file. This text file can be re-read automatically at say 5 second intervals and bets placed accordingly. If you use a text file then many markets can be simultaneously monitored

If your Excel produces selections to bet on in-play based on live market data, then it is even more possible to do all of that in MFP without a link to a text file or Excel. There are loads of football example triggers here.

If you could give a simple example of how your selections are generated in Excel, or what criteria a LTD bet, or +2 bet would be fired I could give you a quick idea how this would work in a trigger.
