Troubleshooting / Re: Monitor overs but back in match odds
« Last post by MarkV on 06 Feb 2024, 18:01 »
Hi
Yes should be straightforward.

If deleting all markets of same football match:

DELETE EVENT
Conditions:
Markets betting code is Over/Under (Soccer) x.5
and selections index is equal to 2
and selections back price is less than x

If deleting Match Odds and retaining other markets:

DELETE MARKET
Conditions:
Markets betting code is Match Odds (Soccer & Tennis) or Moneyline (Basketball)
and selections trigger expression football8_s_2_back_price is less than x   <------- football8_ is cross-market prefix for OU2.5. use which prefix you need

and another idea for deleting markets Point 3 here

please test in test mode

Triggered betting / Re: Remember Favourite at Start of Race
« Last post by MarkV on 06 Feb 2024, 16:52 »
Hi
There is a variable for fav (or rank) recorded just before the off which you can use in-play: last_order. So you can do it all in one trigger without having to remember etc.

Trigger would be:
BACK
market status: in-play
first matching selection
conditions:
selections trigger expression last_order is equal to 1
and any other conditions you need e.g. mins since the off

If you want to base it on fav as soon as market is in-play I suggest using actual_sp:
BACK
market status: in-play
first matching selection
conditions:
selections sorting order is defined by actual_sp
and selections trigger expression match_index is equal to 1
and any other conditions you need e.g. mins since the off

please test in test mode

Troubleshooting / Monitor overs but back in match odds
« Last post by hoodlikt on 06 Feb 2024, 15:33 »
Hello, I'm sure there's an example trigger for this but I can't find it.
I'm backing in the match odds - home, based on index 1 but I want to delete / deactivate the match odds market if the overs for the same match is not above a specified price. On a Saturday afternoon I am wanting to do this for multiple matches at once (all kicking off at the same time)
Is this something that is easy to do?

Many thanks

Triggered betting / Remember Favourite at Start of Race
« Last post by Barry on 06 Feb 2024, 15:31 »
Hello,

I'm trying to set up a requirement on one of my triggers where the name of the favourite at the very beginning of a horse race is remembered, and then when in play, a bet is placed or not placed on that particular horse (regardless of whether it is still the favourite).

I've tried the following but to no joy.

Selections trigger expression sel_name equals / does not equal mysels_r_1_sel_name.

Can you please assist?

Regards

Barry

Your ticket was closed for some reason, that's why we didn't receive your replies.
Sorry for that.
I've reopened the original ticket and forwarded to developers.

Can anyone help me understand why my support tickets are going unanswered?

MFPro has been crashing nightly for nearly a month now. My first ticket was raised on the 8th of Jan and I've had 1 response since raising it, made the changes suggested but still having the issues. I tried creating a new ticket on the 30th but had no response to that and I've also tried contacting Tim directly with no response.

I'd like to think there's a technical issue that explains why I'm getting no help.

See attached.

Thanks
Lee

Hello!

Please see your amended triggers attached.

Use the new constants inside the file (min_odds, min_rank, max_rank) to adjust the trigger settings.

Make sure you've tested the triggers in Test Mode before you switch to real money. I recommend testing triggers in Time Machine, as you can run your strategy by multiple markets in minutes, and the data is very cheap.

If you'd like to make any changes to the original trigger description, please make a new trigger request.

Looking to model the profit/loss from your strategy based on thousands of historical markets? Check BFStats for ready-to-use or bespoke simulation reports. You can prove or disprove your strategy without the risk and hassle of placing real bets.

Kevin,

I think your treble task could well be solved with the trigger

For now I may have to place my Lucky15's manually as I intended.
I'm trigger challenged. I've never been much good at designing them.
Let us know how you get on.
